When we took over Sebby’s in June 2021, we always knew that at some point we would want to put our own stamp on the place to truly meet our vision and ethos, so we are delighted to welcome you to Loaf.

our story

David has been a chef for over twenty years working in some of the top kitchens and with some of the best chefs in the country. His passion is utilising the best local produce and cooking it as simply and as naturally as possible. His favourite thing on the upcoming menu is the (spoiler alert) duck hash.

Katy is Far Headingley born and bread having lived here almost her entire life. She met David while they were both working in a local hotel eighteen or so years ago. She spends her days working in HR, raising our two young children Tom & Jess and everything loaf related in between. Her all time favourite cake is a banana cake.
